What's on this weekend?

We have got some great events this weekend going on for anyone who fancies venturing out across the consituency.
Family Fun Day
How do you fancy Glasto on your doorstep? Well Fog Lane Park is hosting an aviation and transport themed family fun day to celebrate Louis Paulhan’s first ever flight between Manchester and London.
There will be many things for the whole family to do, ranging from a circus to cream teas, kite-making to vintage bus rides, as well as many stalls and other attractions.
I hope this day should be a huge success, like it was last year, and a big celebration of our local history, so why not come along to Fog Lane Park, Burnage, on Saturday 9th July from 1 to 4pm.
Also on Sunday 10th St Catherines RC Primary School is holding a summer fair from 12 – 1pm
Didsbury Classic Car Show
From the success of last years Classic Car Show comes the first ever Didsbury and South Manchester Car and Motorbike Show. It’s in aid of Music in Hospitals and the Christie. The event is always well organised, with some interesting – if not wacky – cars and bikes on display. The theme is ‘cars with character’, so you will not be disappointed.
Entry is free and it runs Sunday 10th from 12 – 4pm and as a passionate supported of the Christie I am really excited about its running for a second year. Come along and see what the motoring world has to offer when it comes to unique cars in Didsbury Park.
