His apparent "prudence" was sleight of hand, hiding the massive growth in personal debt in this country - by far the biggest in Europe - the crime of high house prices, and the increase in the gap between rich and poor - oh and PFIs landing the public utilities in debt for generations to come. The birds are now coming home to roost and he deserves all he gets. He's alienated working people of all classes with his 10p taxes , the high petrol costs ( we have the highest fuel prices in Europe thanks to his tax regime), increasing food prices etc etc. Bye bye brown
