Until you face that truth and do something about it you have no chance whatsoever of beating him. He has a very strong personal following because of that. It's precisely because of his personaly following that he got such a huge swing in his direction last time. He got the benefit of the anti-labour swing nationally PLUS his personal popularity, which is why he got the biggest swing in England. JL is a smart operator on the ground.
