Dream on Labour. John won his seat by a combination of personal popularity after years as a hardworking councillor, and National swing against Labour national policies.

The same principles still apply, but more so.

The anti-labour sentiment has grown markedly as Gordon Brown begins to reap the whirlwind of his failed financial policies ( and they ARE a failure to ordinary people - £70 to fill a car with petrol the same week as Shell & BP make £7 billion profit, food prices going up,housing costs through the roof - people are HURTING whilst the rich get richer) whilst Iraq still sits there, and locally pro Lib Dem sentimentis as strong as ever, with Lib Dems getting twice the votes of Labour.

So saying that John Leech will be "out on his arse" is just plain daft. Look at the realities , Stupid.

And no, I don't want a Tory government. For what it's worth, I want a hung parliament (well, I'd prefer hanged, but hung will do) so that this country finally gets democracy rather than elected dictatorship. Then the Gordon Browns of this world would be forced to listen to the people rather than mouth worthless platitudes about listening.
