Don't get me wrong, I agree with you Steve that they need to be placed somewhere. Perhaps a light industrial estate? (I am quickly thinking off the top of my head, please feel free to point out the problems with my suggestion!) At least it wouldn't be in a residential area, nor would it be right next to a school/nursery etc.
The MEN is a load of tosh... I like to read it from time to time, but it is about as news worthy as the Sun/Mirror/Express etc
