On the excellent Pims website you can keep up to date with the Early Day Motions John Leech has signed. So far the EDMs signed range from concerns about using animal testing for drugs used on humans, rexamining the case for reintroducing small standing areas at football grouds, making St. George's day a public holiday, restoring the national anthem on BBC 1 at the end of the normal day's programming, and perhaps most importantly that Parliament decide whether to deploy British armed forces.

I'm pleased he has signed EDM 90 against Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils in food, this stuff is deadly and cannot be processed by the body, the sooner it is banned the better!
Also motion 46 is good, to try to make sure money spent on grants for to help disabled people access buildings is properly used.
I also support Mr Leech signing motion 55 to have a compulsory 20mph limit outside all schools, I know this is supposed to be rolled out in Manchester but most schools in the city are still covered by the normal 30mph, I think.

Oh joy I'm so glad that someone is doing a website publicising the excellent work of our new MP.
I was so glad to get rid of that boring blairite Keith Bradley voted LD first time after their local election wins.
Keep up the good work!

Why is it the Lib Dem stooges always have to be offensive towards our former MP, can't they put any views across in a sensible and intellectual way? Using John as an example it would seem not!

I'm sorry I thought this was a website publicising the work of John Leech MP. After all it says john.leech.org.uk.
Oh, I feel foolish.
Still, never mind, I guess the Labour party will be back next time when they get their act together in Manchester Withington

Nice to see that John's sense of humour hasn't been impaired by being elected MP. Signing EDM 40 proves that at least.
