What is John Leech's Perception of a Brighter Future

Posted by JLW on Sunday May 22, 18:41

Dr David Reilly makes some very interesting points when he talks of John Leech. I would be very interested, genuinely, to know exactly what it is that John has done for the ward and indeed, more importantly, the constituency. What is John's perception of a brighter future? The only information that I received from John in the run up to the election was " Save Christie Hospital" (not under threat!) and how "Tony Blair's Labour Man" (very childish) voted in favour of the war in Iraq; infact he didn't as Hansard and the Public Whips Office proves.

Please post any comments below if you know what John's perception of a brighter future is.

Lorenzo, no offence but his leaflets were part of his campaign. If he has to lie in order to get elected then he will have to lie throughout the course of the 4 years. It's not a case of maybe he'll be honest but it's a case of watching him to makesure he is!

Tim, Didn't Keith Bradley lie when he said he's save Withington hospital?

Walk down Burton Road and what do you see? The new £20m Withington Hospital isn't an illusion or rumour, it's very real.

It is clear to see: http://www.publicwhip.org.uk/division.php?date=2003-03-18&number=118 http://www.publicwhip.org.uk/division.php?date=2003-03-18&number=117 Here Keith Bradley rebelled on these key votes and voted against the war. You cannot be "ambiguous" about comitting your troops to war, and when it counted Keith voted to not send our troops to war. On the subject of a brighter future for Manchester Withington with the Lib Dems, The Future's Bright... The Future's Orange
